The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) are considering filing a report on the unruly behavior of Barcelona president Joan Laporta following his side's win on Wednesday (January 8).

The Catalan giants went to court to get permission to register the duo of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, and both players were granted temporary permission. This came just before La Blaugrana took the field in Saudi Arabia, where they overcame Athletic Club 2-0 in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final.

Barcelona filed for an urgent precautionary measure to enable them register both Olmo and striker Victor, and their request was granted in court by the Superior Council of Sports (CSD). They had previously seen requests turned down as they sought to find ways to register their players for the second half of the 2024-25 season.
