Gronkowski is confident on Bowers' future in the league - Source: Getty
Brock Bowers has been one of the few positives in a dreadful season for the Las Vegas Raiders. The tight end shattered records in 2024, and the fans would be even less hopeful if he hadn't been drafted by the franchise in April. At least something was good for them.
After such a strong year, comparisons with some of the greatest of all time have already started. And one of the guys who fueled those conversations is actually one of these greats. Rob Gronkowski, the legendary tight end who won four Super Bowls, is totally impressed with Bowers:
He’s the complete package, He’s the only thing that’s been steady on the Las Vegas Raiders offense throughout the whole year, and he’s done it with about three different quarterbacks throwing him the ball, which is just incredible. He should be Offensive Rookie of the Year. Don’t give it to a quarterback; he deserves it. 100-something catches as just a rookie. If he continues this pace, he’s going to shatter every single tight end record out there. Possibly some receiving records as well. The only one that he may not touch is my record, which is the most touchdowns scored by a tight end in a single season, which is 17 receptions and one rushing.
