Lindy Ruff is very familiar with the sights and sounds of Toronto Maple Leaf fans filling the KeyBank Center. His Sabres host the Leafs tonight at 7 p.m. EST in Buffalo and Maple Leafs fans are well-known to travel for road games, especially to Buffalo because of its proximity. Just over two hours' driving distance away, the KeyBank Center is sure to be littered with Toronto fans for tonight's game.
Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff was asked this morning whether the potential of a pro-Toronto crowd in Buffalo would have an impact on the game. The head coach does not appear to be bothered by it:
"All about the 2 points not the fans. If we play well we can take the fans out of the game," said Ruff.
