Sint-Truidense will host Genk at the Stayen on Tuesday night in the quarterfinals of the 2024-25 Belgian Cup campaign. The hosts will hope to become the surprise performers of the round by picking up an unlikely win when they host one of the most in-form domestic sides.
Sint-Truidense began their cup season with a 2-0 win over Challenger Pro League side K. Lierse S.K before picking up a narrow 1-0 victory over 10-men Cercle Brugge in the last round. The hosts, who currently sit in relegation round spots, have struggled in the league with only four wins in their 20 games in the Belgian top flight. They will, however, hope to find reprieve by going as far as they can in the cup.
