Lamar Jackson is hoping for the third MVP award of his career, having first won it in 2019 for record-breaking performances and in 2023. But Skip Bayless wants him to be something greater than that in 2024: a champion.
Speaking Tuesday on his eponymous podcast, the veteran journalist and sportscaster said:
"I can make a strong case that Lamar Jackson deserves MVP , but I don't want him to win again. I want him to win the AFC Championship Game. I wouldn't mind it if he won his first Super Bowl. But no MVP when, unfortunately, Lamar is just 2-4 in the playoffs. He (has) six touchdowns to six interceptions in the playoffs, with three lost fumbles."
