Led by an emerging superstar in Victor Wembanyama, the San Antonio Spurs are in an interesting position regarding the trade market. As the rumor mill starts to heat up, one analyst gave his thoughts on a big splash they should make.
Typically, franchises slowly build out around a promising young prospect. However, Wembanyama is a much different situation. He's already proving to be an elite talent on both ends, which should speed up San Antonio's timeline.
During a recent episode of his podcast, insider Kevin O'Connor gave his thoughts on the Spurs. He thinks Chris Paul's style slows them down and that they should go after Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox.
"I get annoyed watching Chris Paul, he bugs me," O'Connor said. "He's just too slow, slows down the offense, it really pisses me off."
