"Embarrassed" was the word Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry used when describing his team's humbling defeat to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday. Golden State suffered a 30-point loss to their Northern California rivals in a lopsided contest.
Following the 129-99 defeat, Curry was asked about the manner in which the Warriors lost the game. Curry did not hold back in his postgame press conference and made a bold statement regarding Golden State's current roster.
"Nobody likes to get embarrassed like that," said Curry. "So when you're looking up and it's a double digit lead before the first time out ... we are not really built for especially with that situation to have that crazy comeback."
