“There is nothing above Michael Schumacher”: Ross Brawn compares the German to Lewis Hamilton

Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton set a new unprecedented record in F1 by winning the joint most championships (seven) in the sport's history. However, former technical director Ross Brawn, who worked with both the legends, has rated Michael higher compared to Lewis.

Brawn and Schumacher won seven world championships together in separate stints with Benetton and Ferrari. Their partnership with the Italian team, especially, turned out to be historic as Schumacher won five back-to-back titles.

However, from 2010-13, Brawn also served with Mercedes as team principal, where he had an opportunity to work with Hamilton before the Briton went on to match Schumacher's record.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Auto Hebdo, Brawn drew comparisons between Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton, rating the former higher compared to the latter. As quoted by Planet F1, he said:
