Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TGL debuted last night, but iconic radio host Mike Francesa was not a fan. The Bay Area Golf Club defeated New York Golf Club in the inaugural match of the tech-based golf league. Francesca is based in New York and works for WFAN, a New York-centric sports radio show.
Homa, who does not play for either of the teams that played last night, estimated that Francesa might be upset about how Woods and McIlroy's league was going in its first start.
The radio icon said:
"I'm sure the great Tiger Woods, Rory, and friends are getting richer. But if the TGL is the future of sports, then the party is over!"
