“To me, he’s going to Tranmere Rovers after this” – Roy Keane slams Trent Alexander-Arnold for his showing against Manchester United

Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold

Former Manchester Untied captain Roy Keane has had a go at right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold for his display in the 2-2 Premier League home draw with the Red Devils on Sunday (January 5).

The Englishman put in a forgettable performance amid reports of Liverpool rejecting a bid from Real Madrid for the player. Alexander-Arnold was culpable in the lead-up to United's surprise opener at Anfield, as his misplaced pass eventually led to Lisandro Martinez putting the visitors in front.

Seven minutes later - just before the hour mark - Arne Slot's side restored parity through Cody Gakpo. The in-form Mohamed Salah then put the hosts in front from the spot 20 minutes from time.
