Former NHL player Tony DeAngelo, who plays in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), reacted on social media to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s sudden resignation. An avid supporter of US President-elect Donald Trump, DeAngelo also expressed his happiness about Trump’s upcoming inauguration day.
Posting on X, DeAngelo said:
“The Donald rolling back into DC in two weeks. Trudeau OUT in the great country of Canada. Things are on the up & up to get North America back on track and start taking care of the CITIZENS of your own country first! #MAGA #MCGA.”
DeAngelo's post stirred up a frantic online debate. The former New York Rangers player even got involved in some heated exchanges himself.
