Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan
Galatasaray are targeting a move for Manchester City star Ilkay Gundogan in the summer, according to ESPN. The Turkish giants are keen on securing the midfielder's services, who has also been linked with Inter Milan.
Gundogan enjoyed seven successful years in his first stint at Manchester City after joining the club from Borussia Dortmund in 2016. The German midfielder was an integral player in the Cityzens' success under Pep Guardiola.
He won five Premier Leagues, the Champions League, two FA Cups, and four Carabao Cups until his departure in 2023. Gundogan left the Etihad on a free transfer and joined Barcelona that summer.
He was signed on a three-year deal by the Blaugrana. However, after just one full season, the Germany international decided to leave Barcelona, which club president Joan Laporta later claimed was a 'sporting decision'.
