Legendary caddie Billy Foster, who currently carries Matt Fitzpatrick's bag, has announced that he will reduce the number of tournaments he plays in from 2025. This is Foster's 43rd season as a professional caddie.
The caddie himself announced his decision in an Instagram post, stating that he will continue to work with Fitzpatrick, but will only play in around 15 tournaments this season.
Fitzpatrick's caddie also left himself open to new projects. This is part of the text of his post:
"Well 2025 will be a little bit different but looking forward to a positive start to the season here in Maui. After 42 seasons it’s time to try a job share with Fitz & travel a little bit less."
