After suffering a toe injury a couple of days ago, Viktor Hovland has provided an update on his availability for the Sentry. The Norwegian star stated that there is no final decision on his participation in the PGA Tour opener, but he will try his best to tee off this week.
Hovland, who last played during the FedEx Cup Playoffs, was set to return to action at the Sentry 2025. The inaugural event of the new season will take place from Thursday, January 2, to Sunday, January 5, at the Kapalua Plantation Course in Kapalua, Hawaii.
On Sunday, December 29, Viktor Hovland told Espen Blaker of Eurosport that he fractured his little toe after hitting it on the edge of his bed. He added that while his participation remains uncertain, he will make every effort to compete in the Sentry.
