Brandon Aubrey's record-breaking season with the Dallas Cowboys took an interesting turn during Sunday's Week 18 matchup against the Washington Commanders at AT&T Stadium. The 2023 first team All-Pro kicker sent a second-quarter kickoff wide — striking a Cowboys cheerleader on the sidelines.
The cheerleader quickly brushed off the incident with laughter, demonstrating remarkable poise despite getting hit on the head. Her lighthearted response provided a rare moment of levity in what has been a challenging season for Dallas.
The kick came on a day when Aubrey had already etched his name deeper in Cowboys history. Earlier in the game, he drilled his 37th field goal of the season — a precise 34-yard attempt during Dallas' opening drive. This successful kick broke his own Cowboys single-season record of 36 field goals established in 2023.
