McLaren driver Oscar Piastri reminisced about his first meeting with former Australian cricketer Ricky Ponting in a segment during the India vs Australia Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The Aussie driver went back to his home country to spend the holiday season with his family and enjoy a bit of downtime away from the track during the off-season.
In his second year on the track in F1, the 23-year-old had many moments of success, including two race wins in Baku and Budapest, and multiple podium finishes. He also finished P4 in the driver's standings just holding off the late charge from former Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz.
On Saturday, December 28, Oscar Piastri was featured in an interview with Channel 7+ alongside Australian cricket legend Ricky Ponting, who is worth $95 million (according to CelebrityNetWorth). The two reminisced about a picture from a decade ago when the duo did a photoshoot together.
