LeBron James is one of the most famous NBA players who never went to college. He made it to the league straight out of high school, becoming the first-overall pick of the 2003 NBA Draft out of St. Vincent-St. Mary.
Of course, multiple programs were more than interested in getting him back in the day. But given how NBA-ready his game and body were, the decision to go straight to the pros was an easy call for the Akron native.
That's why he never truly got to experience a college recruiting visit. In October 2022, during an interview on "The Shop," he said that going through that process with his son Bronny was something new to him.
