Following the Sentry 2025, the PGA Tour will head to the Sony Open, the second event in Hawaii. The event will take place from January 9 to 12 at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu. This will be the first full-field event of the season, featuring 144 players.
Since the Sony Open in Hawaii 2025 isn't a Signature event, many top players will be absent from the action. Hideki Matsuyama, who is having a great run in the season opener, will be the highest-ranked player in the field. Overall, 19 of the top 50 ranked players in the OWGR will compete in the second event of the 2025 season.
