The NFL Most Valuable Player award might carry a hidden curse, according to analyst Kyle Brandt. His comments come as betting odds swing dramatically between frontrunners Josh Allen (-300) and Lamar Jackson (+225) following their Week 17 performances.

Brandt, a prominent NFL personality known for his sharp takes on the sport, voiced his criticism amid a statistical showdown. Lamar Jackson has thrown 3,955 yards with 39 touchdowns and four interceptions, plus 852 rushing yards. Allen counters with 3,731 passing yards, 28 TDs, six picks and 531 rushing yards.

On Sunday, Brandt posted a video on X challenging the MVP award's significance.
