The reason behind Ruben Amorim dropping Marcus Rashford comes to light
The real reason behind Ruben Amorim's decision to drop Marcus Rashford from his Manchester United squad has reportedly come to light. As per Metro, the England international was out in Manchester on the Friday before their game with Everton on Sunday, November 1.
Rashford scored twice for Manchester United in that game as they secured a 4-0 win at Old Trafford against the Toffees. It was Amorim's first win in the Premier League but the manager was not pleased when he found out about Rashford being out.
Incidentally, this is not the first time Rashford has landed himself in trouble for a similar occurrence. In January 2024, he was fined two weeks' wages after he missed training due to an illness, but was spotted partying the night before in a Belfast nightclub via social media.
