Will Smith's wife Cara and Walker Buehler's wife McKenzie were in the stands of the Yankee Stadium seeing the Dodgers nearing a World Series win in Game 5. The game went down to the wire as the Dodgers rallied back to overcome a 5-0 deficit with a five-run fifth inning. They added a couple of runs in the eighth to go into the ninth leading the game 7-6.
Dodgers manager called out Buehler to protect the one-run lead in the ninth. The right-handed ace did so effortlessly as the Dodgers lifted their eighth World Series title.
During a Q&A with fans on Sunday, McKenzie was asked to describe the feeling when Buehler came out of bullpen in the most nerve-wracking situation. Cara reshared the post of McKenzie and shared her own feelings.
"One of my favorite memories during playoffs and the hug that followed after that last out," Cara wrote in her Instagram story.
