Xander Schauffele will play at The Sentry Tournament in 2025, and before the event begins on Thursday, the golfer detailed his struggles from the 2024 season. During a press conference at the Kapalua Plantations Course on December 31, the American golfer shared the reason behind taking a couple of weeks off from competitive golf.
Schauffele said that his golf swing was "uncomfortable" and he was working on it.
“I would say everything I was working on with [coach] Chris [Como] last year is still not, you know - it feels like my swing, it's still something that's a little bit uncomfortable. As long as I'm producing good shots I feel the confidence to keep moving in the right direction, and obviously got a lot of confidence after some results last year. But some of the same stuff, getting the club in certain positions and trying to move the correct way - so a lot of the same, to be honest,” Xander Schauffele said.
